OKLCH is the right color space for design systems in 2026.
Hex is convenient. RGB is everywhere. But OKLCH is the only space where 'one step lighter' actually looks like one step lighter — across every hue.
Stop using Lorem Ipsum.
Real copy reveals problems lorem hides — line breaks that wreck headlines, em-dashes the designer didn't plan for, names too long for the avatar circle.
We deleted our component library.
After two years and 240 components, we shipped a site that used 11 of them. So we deleted the rest and rebuilt around composition.
