Scope

Brand site · CMS · ordering

Duration

6 weeks

Brief

From a Google Sheet menu to a brand that ships.

Lengkong arrived with a beautifully shot Instagram, three hand-drawn menus, and an aging Squarespace site that loaded their hero image at 3.2MB. They needed a real brand site — fast — that could carry ordering through Q4 and survive a print magazine feature. We ran a 5-day discovery, picked the editorial-magazine direction, and built it on production-grade infrastructure. Custom CMS shaped around the three things their team actually edits: menu, hours, events. We launched in week 5, one week ahead of schedule. First week post-launch: orders 2.3× pre-launch baseline. Magazine feature drove 18,000 visitors with no degradation.

How we built it

Five weeks, five checkpoints.

01

Discovery

5-day audit + interviews + content map. Brief signed by Friday.

02

Design

Two distinct directions. One picked end of week 2.

03

Build

Production stack from day one. CMS shaped around editor reality.

04

Migrate

Content moved live. Old site retired without a redirect gap.

05

Launch

DNS during low-traffic hour. 30 days of support kicked off.

We came in with a Squarespace site and a print feature on the way. Bob & Co. shipped on time, the CMS is exactly what we needed, and orders nearly tripled.
